ACES 2021, a truly international symposium graced by three Nobel Laureates and two more excellent scientists, organized by the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, on June 17th (starting at 8.30 AM/Sri Lankan time) to celebrate the centenary of science in Sri Lanka.
Nobel Laureates who are gracing the event are:
Ada E. Yonath (Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2009; first Israeli woman to win a Nobel Prize)
Konstantin Novoselov (Nobel Prize in Physics 2010 for discoveries/experiments in Graphene)
Peter C. Doherty (Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for findings in cell-mediated immunity)
